Method:

Interlock the fingers of both hands, and bring the hands in front of the heart while keeping them open.

Duration: As desired.

Benefits:

We’ve previously discussed several mudras that boost self-confidence, such as Ganesha Mudra, Ankush Mudra, Vajra Mudra, Mukul Mudra, Soham Mudra, Shakti Mudra, Prana Mudra, Uttar Bodhi Mudra, Ushas Mudra, Shakti Paan Mudra, Makara Mudra, Naga Mudra, and Shivalinga Mudra. Vajrapradama Mudra also falls into this series.

This mudra is very simple, yet it significantly enhances self-confidence, eliminates feelings of inferiority, and removes the sense of incapability. Whenever you are faced with a difficult task and feel you are unable to accomplish it, perform this mudra. Soon, you will feel a new energy, enthusiasm, and confidence within yourself. This is an excellent mudra for increasing inner strength. It’s something we unconsciously do daily—when we feel lazy, we often stretch our fingers. However, we aren’t aware of the correct method or its benefits. Starting today, use this mudra properly, and you will feel a divine connection and experience spiritual powers.

Vajrapradama Mudra and Ganesha Mudra should be practiced two to three times daily, no matter where you are. When you interlock the fingers of both hands, their combined energy produces new enthusiasm and strength.

In Osho’s meditation programs, this mudra is used while lying in Shavasana for quicker focus. Form the mudra, place your hands over the heart, and let the locket of the mala rest under your hands.
