Also known as the “Big Head Mudra.”

Method:

  • Place the ring finger (associated with the Earth element) on the base of the thumb.
  • Then, bring together the tips of the thumb, index finger (Air element), and middle finger (Sky element).
  • Keep the little finger straight, effectively combining the Surya Mudra and Vyana Mudra.
  • Practice this for 6 minutes, three times a day.

Benefits:

  1. This mudra is highly effective for relieving headaches, regardless of the cause—be it due to cold, sinus issues, stress, weather changes, indigestion, cervical pain, lower back pain, or menstrual discomfort. The Vyana Mudra within this practice affects the Vyana Vayu (circulatory energy) and ensures that energy is evenly distributed throughout the body. It also helps regulate high blood pressure, reduces inflammation in the head, and addresses the swelling and pain that often cause headaches.
  2. This mudra helps reduce stress and alleviate sinus inflammation.
  3. It also aids in weight loss, reduces cholesterol levels, helps manage blood pressure, and is beneficial for those with diabetes.

Special Note: Drinking two glasses of water can provide immediate relief from headaches.
