Garuda is a bird, known as the king of birds. It is the enemy of snakes and is the vehicle of Lord Vishnu. Garuda is known for its sharp vision.

Method:

Clasp the thumbs of both hands together. Place the right hand over the left and position your hands on the lower abdomen (Swadhisthana Chakra). Take 10 deep breaths in and out. Then, slowly move your hands upward to the navel area (Manipura Chakra) and take 10 breaths. Afterward, move your hands a bit further up to the upper abdomen (stomach and liver area), and again take 10 breaths. Finally, bring your hands to your chest, placing the left hand on the chest and extending the right hand towards the shoulders, spreading the fingers wide. This process takes about 4 minutes. Practice it three times a day.

Benefits:

  1. This mudra increases blood circulation to all organs of the body.
  2. It activates all the organs from the lower abdomen to the chest, stimulating the Manipura Chakra.
  3. It balances the vital energy and prana in the right and left sides of the body.
  4. For women, it alleviates menstrual pain and irregularities, influencing the Swadhisthana Chakra.
  5. It cures stomach ailments.
  6. It reduces uterine inflammation.
  7. When we perform this mudra by moving the hands from the lower to the upper body, combined with breathing exercises, it activates the energy centers in our hands and breathing process, thereby promoting the health of all organs.

Caution: Those with high blood pressure should avoid this mudra.
